Our Suspension services include:

Air Spring
Air suspension is used in place of conventional steel springs in heavy vehicle applications such as buses and trucks. It is broadly used on semi-trailers. The purpose of air suspension is to provide a smooth, constant ride quality. Modern electronically controlled systems almost always feature self-leveling along with raising and lowering functions. Although traditionally called air bags or air bellows, the correct term is air spring (although these terms are also used to describe just the rubber bellows element with its end plates). Trust the experts at Premier Auto & RV Service when your truck's air bag suspension needs service, repair, or replacement. Call us at 330-723-9800 to schedule an appointment.

Equalizers
Suspension equalizers are an effective aftermarket innovation for rear leaf suspensions. The equalizers are designed to aid in the carrying ability of your truck. Equalizers have the following advantages: fuel economy, increased safety, increased power, reduced tire wear, improved steering, and improved braking.

Most equalizer kits include U-bolts, Equalizer Bars, Shackle Plates, Greasable Bolts, Rollers, Spring Washers, Washers, U-bolt Plates, and Nylon Locking Nuts. For all your suspension equalizer needs, visit or call Premier Auto & RV Service in Seville, OH 44273 today.

Hangers
Hangers are an effective way to enhance your truck's driving stability, handling, and suspension response. Hangers lower your truck's center of gravity, protecting it from rollovers in turns and corners and help you modify your truck's ground clearance. Whether you want to lower or raise your truck using hangers, call 330-723-9800 or visit Premier Auto & RV Service today.

Shocks
Shock absorbers are mechanical devices designed to smooth out shock impulses, thus reducing the effects of traveling over rough roads. Shocks convert kinetic energy that is formed when a vehicle travels over rough ground into another form of energy.

With shocks, you will be able to take your truck to places you never thought possible. Shocks work together with springs (they damp spring oscillations) to give your truck the best overall performance and the ability to carry the maximum load. For all your shock servicing, shock repairs and shock replacement needs, call or visit Premier Auto & RV Service today.

Torque Arms & Walking Beams
A torque arm is a metal arm attached between a drive axle and the vehicle's frame. Torque arms prevent axle rotation in hub motors. It prevents the wheels from trying to rotate the axle relative to the vehicle's frame under acceleration (or in the opposite direction during braking).

A walking beam is an oscillating lever that pivots on a central axis and uses internal cam technology to transmit linear stroke in two directions (produces a reciprocating or reversible motion).

For all your torque arm and walking beam servicing needs, visit Premier Auto & RV Service in Seville, OH 44273.

Uneven Tire Wear Often Starts With Suspension Problems

Uneven tire wear isn't always caused by poor alignment or improper tire inflation. If your fleet vehicles continue to experience irregular tread wear despite proper maintenance, worn suspension components may be contributing to the problem. Parts such as shocks, bushings, springs, and other suspension components help keep the tires firmly planted on the road. As these components wear, they can allow excessive movement that causes the tires to wear unevenly.

Common tire wear patterns like cupping, feathering, or excessive wear along the shoulders of the tread can all point to underlying suspension issues. Identifying and repairing these problems early can help extend tire life, improve vehicle handling, and reduce long-term operating costs. Regular suspension inspections are an effective way to catch worn components before they lead to premature tire replacement or more extensive repairs, so that's why you should visit Premier Auto & RV Service for a check up.

Fleet Suspension Components We Inspect

A thorough suspension inspection evaluates the components that help keep your fleet vehicles stable, properly aligned, and comfortable to drive. Because suspension parts work together, wear in one component can place additional stress on others and affect handling, tire wear, and overall ride quality. Regular inspections can identify developing issues before they lead to more extensive repairs or unexpected downtime.

During a fleet suspension inspection, technicians may examine:

  • Shocks and struts
  • Air springs
  • Leaf springs
  • Bushings
  • Equalizers
  • Torque arms
  • Walking beams
  • Hangers
  • U-bolts
  • Control arms (on applicable light-duty fleet vehicles)
  • Ball joints
  • Sway bar links

Inspecting these components on a regular basis can help improve ride quality, promote more even tire wear, and reduce the likelihood of suspension-related breakdowns. If worn or damaged parts are found, timely repairs can help keep your fleet operating safely and reliably.

Reviews

I wanted to go camping, but had engine trouble. Was looking around, then came into the store on Tuesday to meet George. He somehow found the parts needed to repair my RV. I was then able to get back on the road in time to go fishing with my family.

Special thanks to George and his team for the work on my RV. After calling 9 RV shops and dealers he was both knowledgeable and reassuring restoring my faith in the vehicle I purchased from a private family. Definitely going to use Premier as my regular go to shop for repairs and service

Traveling to Florida from Canada and experienced engine issues with our motorhome after we stopped at a rest area just north of Seville,OH. Premiere was recommended to us by the mobile mechanic who checked us out. He was sure it was a couple of pistons. George took us in right away and after 2 mins, his mechanic diagnosed it as the manifold gasket. Two days and we were back on the road!! Thank you George and your team.
